Learning Music

So you want guitar, piano, voice or drum lessons. Get a great teacher! Someone you connect with and that is reliable. Someone that nurtures your strengths but improves your weaknesses. Get a degreed teacher that is well rounded musically. Make sure sure your teacher gives you a true education but is open to your needs and wants, as well.

If you're in high school take a music theory class - it's Free! You can buy Guitar, Keyboard , Voice and Drum magazines. The interviews, gear reviews and lessons on those pages are wonderful and a subscription is not expensive.

You can also learn more about guitar, piano, voice and drums on YouTube. Just type in something you would like to learn about. Skyping is better for advanced students. One on one lessons (in person) are always best! It's a New Year. Now get started!
